Basic Modem (TP-LINK TD-8810)
The TP-LINK TD-8810 is a reliable, high quality single port ADSL modem router. The standard modem comes with all the advanced features that you would expect from a more expensive modem, while also making its configuration simple and straight forward. The standard modem allows you to connect one computer to your broadband internet service. If you are looking at connection more then one computer, we recommend the use of any of the Wireless Modem options.
Wireless (Billion BiPack 5200G R4)
The Billion 5200G R4 is a highly advanced modem/router/wireless access point. The 5200G R4 features ultra high speed, reliable connection to the internet, an advanced firewall for protection and security, as well as reliable wireless networking. The wireless modem is recommends for use if you have more then one computer you wish to connect to your ADSL internet connection, or if you need a wireless network (e.g. if you have a laptop computer).
Wireless-N (Billion BiPack 5200N)
The Wireless N Modem/Router is near identical from the standard wireless unit, however it uses the Draft 802.11n wireless standard, allowing up to 300mbps of throughput to supported devices. This means you can enjoy media rich content faster, and also further from your wireless modem. This modem is backward compatible with Wireless-B and Wireless-G technologies, so older wireless devices will still work with this modem. This modem also supports WPA-PSK protection and encryption to help keep your wireless network private.
Wireless VoIP (Billion BiPack 7401VGP)
The Wireless VoIP Modem/Router allows you to enjoy all the benefits of wireless connectivity for your mobile devices, as well as the added benefits of built-in support for VoIP and PSTN Failover. The Billion BiPAC 7401VGP allows you to take advantage of ultra-low cost phone calls via HugoVoIP to reduce your monthly telephone bill. Click here to find out more! Ethernet Switch
An Ethernet switch can be used in conjunction with with the wireless modem/router (or your own, pre-existing modem/router, proving it is compatible), to expand the number of computers you can connect to your ADSL broadband service. Line Filters
HugoNet is able to provide its customers with a range of high quality line filters for your house. We currently offer three types of line filters:
Basic In-Line filter: $19.95
The basic in line filter is the most common type of line filter. The device simply plugs into the back of the telephone, where the line would normally plug in. Then, the line plugs into the back of the line filter. Its that simple.
Line Filter/Splitter: $19.95
The line filter/splitter is very similar the the ion-line filter. The main difference is that the filter/splitter has two outlets: ADSL and phone. This way, you can plug your incoming telephone line into this device, then connect all of your existing telephones to the 'phone' connector, and your ADSL modem to the 'ADSL' port.
Central Line Filter: $45.95
The Central line filter is a professionally installed device. This device is best to be installed by a qualified technician. It allows the easiest way to connect all of your telephones and your modems through the one device, and ensures that all of the devices have the correct filtering applied.
